After recently purchasing an Xbox 360, I decided to find out if it was simple to copy Xbox 360 Games. Damage to games discs is common. I needed to learn to make exact Xbox disc copies.

A quick bit of on-line research showed that a solution was indeed available to help me make backup copies of Xbox 360 games. it also worked for many other gaming platforms. Games companies use special protection systems that normal CD/DVD burning software can’t overcome. I found a great software solution that makes copying Xbox 360 games a breeze by overriding the disc protection measures. You can also copy PS3 games, PS2 games and many other platforms including Wii and GameCube. This allows you to backup games for all of your consoles.

The solution I found enables the disc to be read, making reproduction of the disc a simple procedure. Even with good DVD burning software, these discs can’t be read.

Here is the method for making backups of Xbox 360 Games.

Follow the on screen instructions after putting your disc into the DVD burning drive. The program produces an image (ISO) file of the games disc. When the image file is created the original disc will be ejected and the program will ask you to insert a blank one. Ensuring that the correct type of blank disc is inserted is vital.

Once the image is copied to your blank disc the procedure is complete and your Xbox 360 game has been copied. Copy your other games the same way.

Copying Xbox 360 Games was a simple task with the this simple and cheap method. Backup copies of your games discs is a good plan. Make a backup straight away, then store the original safely. You will then always have a good copy if needed.

I am somewhat of an expert on finding free online games and free computer games online. I, myself, have been dabbling with computers and computer games since I was twelve years old. Today, aside from playing free online games and computer games I am a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), twice over. I am also certified by Cisco twice over as a Cisco Certified Network Administrator (or CCNA.) I have enjoyed playing free online games and computer games ever since I could remember seeing computer games. In my time, you could not find free online games, but you could purchase computer games – you usually visited an arcade to play pinball, or play some of the video games of the time. READ ON…I AM GOING TO SHOW YOU HOW TO FIND, DOWNLOAD, AND PLAY FREE ONLINE GAMES AND COMPUTER GAMES – MOST ANY GAME THAT YOU WANT TO!!!

Though free online games came later, I first played computer games when I was introduced to the Atari 400 and the Atari 800 Systems, and the Commodore 64 computer. I was playing computer games like “Archon”, “Dungeons and Dragons”, “Abuse”, “Pooyan”, and a handful of others of which I cannot remember! Apple Computers also had a small computer that played computer games made for the Apple Computer system, but I did not delve too far into the Apple world of computer games.

When I was introduced to Personal Computers (PC’s) I immediately saw the potential of where computers could take video and computer games. Again, this was before free online games. I was enjoying games like “Doom”, “Diablo”, “Tomb Raider”, “Myst”, “Mech Warrior”, and even “Leisure Suit Larry”. (Actually, free online games and computer games were then just becoming available online.)

Add to that the amazing recent technological explosions in the world of computers, and the Internet, and free online games and computer games become even more sophisticated and awesome!!! For free online games and computer games, with more powerful computers, and the Internet, plus newer and better computer game controls and monitors, you can enjoy free online games and computer games across high bandwidth connections; free online games and computer games such as “Counter Strike”, and so many others. (I have not personally kept up with the latest and greatest free online games and computer games, for all platforms, but I am stocking the GPFT FREE Section with free online games and computer games constantly!)

I eventually learned how to find and download free online games and computer games, nearly any free online game and computer game that you can think of, all for FREE. You can find both the newest and classic free online games, computer games, PC computer games, XBox, WII, Playstation, Nintendo, and Super Nintendo games, all online. Xbox 360 users can now load games or videos through USB flash drives.

Microsoft Tuesday released a software update that allows users to configure a flash drive with up to 16GB of storage. The USB port is also used to connect wired controllers and other gaming accessories.

Only two USB storage devices can be connected to the console at once to get up to 32GB of expanded storage, which will supplement the storage provided by the internal hard drive. Data that can be loaded or stored from the thumb drives include Xbox 360 games, game data and movies. Users will not be able to load original Xbox games or MP3 or WMA music files.

To configure a USB flash drive, the console must have the latest update, which can be acquired through Xbox Live, Microsoft said. Instructions to update the console are provided on Microsoft's support site.

SanDisk is already taking orders for a pre-configured Xbox 360 branded flash drive, which will include the update, according to the company's Web site. The 16GB is priced at US$69.99, while the 8GB is $34.99. The drives will start shipping on May 5.

2009 has been a year to remember for Xbox 360 games. It is an extremely tough job to pick this year’s top Xbox 360 game releases. Ask gamers in any setting about the top 10 Xbox 360 game releases of 2009, and you can hear words such as ‘pawnzer’, ‘imba’, ‘insane’ and many other colorful epithets as die hard gamers try to get their points across.

That still leaves us with the job to pick out the best two games releases of 2009 in terms of the Xbox 360 game deals. In an effort to help confused gamers who have been spoilt for choices this year, we have decided to rate two of the best games that have created the maximum number of battalions of teenage zombies this year.

1. Xbox 360 Assassin’s Creed ii: This is the top Xbox 360 game release of the year. The graphics and rendering of the visuals in top Xbox 360 game has the potential to usher in a whole revolution in gaming. More gamers will argue that its combat and acrobat systems are highly unforgiving and tough to handle. Even these ‘unforgiving’ gamers will accept that this game will be on the top 5 list from any perspective. In order to see the quality of the game and its game play modules, all a person needs to do is to log online and check out some of the videos that have been floating on the internet. Actually, the fact that the game is challenging makes it even more attractive as it helps a gamer become a part of the story line.

2. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2: This game had to handle a whole enchilada of fans full of anticipation and dread that the sequel of Call of Duty Modern Warfare may end up disappointing. Even with the bar of expectations raised to incomparable levels, this game has delivered everything it was supposed to. This sequel of the earlier game, which by itself was considered to be one of the best for the genre of First Person shooter (FPS) games, has gone one step ahead in terms of twists and turns in the plot, user friendly interface, and the amount of intense action. What is even more important is that this game comes with an added feature known as the Special Ops mode which allows the player to coordinate with a friend within the campaign mode of the game. Add to this the aspect that the highly acclaimed multiplayer mode of Call of Duty Modern Warfare has been further tweaked and refined and we have a game that is expected to ruin the sleep of many parents for months to come.

Deciding which gaming system is the best fit for you and your family can be a very tough choice. There are so many factors to consider. Some things to think about are who is going to spend the most time playing (you or your children), are you going to use the system for watching movies, do you plan to play online. Price is also a factor this day and age, but if you get a system that does not work for your needs or wants, than you are wasting money. All the games have there good points, it is just a matter of what works best for you. I am going to give you a brief run down of the major three systems (WII, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3), in hopes that it will help you with your decision on choosing the right console for you.

Let us start with the WII, a great system that will give you hours of fun. This console is designed to be more kid friendly; there are more games for this system that you would be comfortable letting your children play. Another good point with this system is that it makes you active; you have to move to make the game react. You can also purchase add-ons so that you can do exercise or even yoga. Something to also think about when looking at this system, is that you cannot watch DVDs on it, and online game play is very limited. In general the system is reliable and a lot of fun.

Now we move on to the Xbox 360, also a great system. The graphics for this system are amazing, and there is a wide choice of games. With this system, you have to watch a little closer to what your children are playing. The controls give more options for movements, but take a minute or two to get used to all the buttons. The online play is very smooth and easy to use, but there is a yearly fee to use it (anywhere from $30 to $50). If you get the upgraded systems you will also get a hard drive to save downloads and more games. This system is a DVD up convertor but does not buffer Blue Ray. Xbox does offer HD if you buy the HDMI cable (it does not come with the system). Something new for this system is that Microsoft is working with Netflix so that you can download some movies to your Xbox (again there is a fee involved). Overall, it is an awesome system but there is a little more cost involved, but than again, there are more options.

Last, but not least, is the Playstation 3, another amazing system. The visuals are top of the line and will not disappoint. Again, there is a wide variety of games for this system. Playstation 3 even releases many games exclusive for their system. Like the Xbox 360, you will have to watch a little closer to what the little ones are playing. This controller also offers more buttons so that you have more control of the game. The online play is very good on this system, and is free. With the online option, you do not have Netflix and options like that, but again there is no yearly fee. This console also offers a hard drive with upgraded systems. Something else to remember is that you can also watch Blue Ray on this system, which is a nice option. With this system, you will have to buy the HDMI cables separately. So one more system that is amazing that has many options for you to think about.

This is a few pros and cons for you to think about while you are making your decision on which system is best for you. Also, remember to check out prices online. You might find a better price and selection. Good luck finding the right system for you and (or), your family. Moreover, have a lot of fun when you get it

Archon is a game that came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1989. It is one of the best non-sports multiplayer games created for the NES because of the re-playability. Archon is sort of like chess, but it definitely takes chess in a whole new direction. There are fantasy like chess pieces. However, instead of the typical taking a piece by landing on top of it, when a piece lands on another piece it becomes a dual that you control.

During the battle, depending on the piece you have better abilities and can be stronger than your opponent’s piece. In addition, there are bonuses for black and white squares depending on your color.

The computer is slightly difficult if you are playing single player so do not expect to win every time when you first start playing. There are a couple of pieces that the computer is really good with, but in general you will find out how to counter the computer’s AI after playing 10 times or so. Playing against the computer is okay, but playing against your friends is where this game gets really good. If you like chess, then you will love this game.

This game really does take the re-playability of chess and put a spin on it that makes it way more fun than your typical game of chess. It is definitely one of the more quality games for the NES and most likely the best remake of a board game for the entire NES system.

Overall, Archon is a fantastic NES game that is one of the classics that NES owners who played as a kid remember quite fondly. This game is highly recommended to go back and play if you played this one as a kid because surprisingly you will find that it is still very fun even as an adult. This game definitely receives the “classic game” status. Rating: 9/10

Mass Affect 2 – Video Game Review

Mass affect 2 is a game that has made some small changes from its first version. Some say the graphics are better and others say there are some miner bugs in the game. And while there are some pros and cons to this exciting game, most gamers would agree that they are up for the challenge and can’t wait to play it.

Almost everyone is attracted to the universe, so for anyone who is also a gamer, putting the two together can be magic for some people. This game has you spinning through the universe on a ship that had to be replaced. The first one blew up just seconds into the game.

The game begins with a tragedy as the SSV Normandy is attacked and blown to pieces and the fate of the protagonist Sheppard is unclear. Your job is to investigate the situation and look for clues. You also need to confront vicious forces behind the mystery. You owe an illusive man your life and he follows you wherever you go and stays in your shadows.

You rebuild a new team called the Normandy SR-2. Your team consists of wild characters that might have you in stitches laughing with their antics and jokes. Your crew will help you battle out any enemies shall they come your way.

The main plot is conventional science fiction and has a predictable close. You have to complete missions but not all missions are combating but as you build through the developments you actually build on your characters development. The writing and dialogue between characters is excellent and the characters have detailed facial expressions and voice matched to feelings giving into that sense of reality.

You can go into a third person shooter. Sliding the cover is easy, however as you move in and out of positions and hideaway locations, your characters, actions may be delayed enough to have you killed, these bugs in the game have some people complaining.

If you want to change weapons there is no more pop up screen to quickly access. This time you have to go all the way to the weapons locker room, to find your weapon and have it. Many gamers did not enjoy that feature at all.

The worst part of this game noted by reviews was the constant scanning that needed to be done. This is where a lot of game play is wasted. The reticule is slow and the entire process of doing it is long and worn out.

oved and contains all of the things you would expect in a battle targeted game. You can actively explore the worlds and meet many new characters that will prove to be only too helpful as your journey continues.

The game adjusts to the challenges and moves that you make. In the end of the game the choices that you made as you went along will determine the type of ending you get. This game will have you pushing right to the end just to see what happens.

This game got mostly good reviews. Everyone loved the idea of traveling through space, especially when a great crew was involved. It was also noted that many people did not find the bugs in the game to be too concerning and were able to continue in the game with no more distractions.

The American Gladiators NES game was an instant classic when it hit the streets back in 1991. It sold quite a few more copies than your average game so you can still find the cartridges for relatively cheap almost 20 years later. The graphics were fairly average for when it came out with a few select levels having better graphics than some of the other ones.

There are quite a few different types of events much like the TV show. You will find the rock climbing wall, the joust, and even the human cannonball. It is very much an action game and would be similar to so many of the games based off movies that are popular for the XBOX and Playstation. Generally these games are considered to be much worse than other genres because they are so dependent on graphics and gameplay seems to be an afterthought.

However, American Gladiators breaks the mold especially for typical TV show or movie video games for the NES because so much more of the game is focused on events than on graphics. It is much more involved than say donkey kong because it requires a lot more timing of certain events.

For its time, American Gladiators for the NES was a relatively fun game without too much depth into story line. It is also kind of short if you have played the game before. However, it does bring some fun back into the typical lame action game. But overall, there are so many better games out there to play for different more modern systems that this one is not an essential game to go back and play. Perhaps you can stick with some of the newer TV show games that have been launched for the Playstation 3 recently. However, for those that played this one as a kid, it can still be mildly amusing to go back and play. Rating: 5/10

In the old days, choosing a video game system for children wasn’t all that hard. After all, parents didn’t have to worry about games carried by systems like Atari (there was nothing threatening about Pac-Man or Space Invaders). Today, however, with the proliferation of games with mature content available on games supported by the major system manufacturers, parents want to know which system carries the most kid-friendly games, ones that the young ones will enjoy and one that parents will not regret spending money on.

Let’s start with the Sony PlayStation 2, the best-selling game console on the market today. There are literally thousands of titles available for this system, which cater to every age range. There are approximately 600 games for the PS2 that have the “E” rating, meaning that it is suitable for players ages six and above. However, many of these games are too complicated for young children to play. Games that children ten years old and above can enjoy are rated E10+, while those that are rated EC (Early Childhood) are of course, suitable for the very young. The PS2 carries about a dozen E10+ games, including movie-based titles like Shrek Super Slam for PlayStation 2 and Chicken Little. EC titles that little ones can enjoy include Dora the Explorer: Journey to the Purple Planet, Eggo Mania and At the Races Presents Gallop Racer.

Nintendo’s GameCube console continues to be popular because it carries titles that are popular with children. The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) lists 263 video game titles rated E for the GameCube, and these include some of the most popular and beloved among the children of today and years past, such as Sega’s Sonic GEMS Collection, Nintendo’s own Mario Party 6 and Mario Tennis. The Legend of Zelda series and several Pokemon titles are available exclusively on the GameCube as well.

Microsoft’s Xbox and Xbox 360 video game consoles likewise have many, many titles that are rated E; the Xbox with approximately 270 games and the Xbox 360 with so far about a dozen — but count on the number of Xbox 360 titles to increase since it’s a new release. Some games published by Microsoft exclusively for the Xbox and the Xbox 360 and which have the E rating are Astropop and Feeding Frenzy. However, remember that most game publishers release crossover titles, or games that are available on multiple platforms. What about parental control options? Among the four systems, the Xbox and the Xbox 360 have the most efficient parental lock functions. Parents are able to set limits on the games and films to be played on the systems. If you set the system to play only E-rated games, kids won’t be able to play DVD’s or games that have Teen, Mature, or Adults Only ratings. The GameCube also has a parental lock feature, albeit a less effective one. Users note that all it does is tone down certain effects that might be troubling for children (for example, the amount of blood seen in games) but do not block the playing of games at all. It doesn’t even screen or bleep offensive language. The parental control function of the PlayStation 2 is even worse — it doesn’t allow parents or anyone to restrict access to video games at all. The most parents can do is to set the PS2 to prevent their kids from watching DVD movies with inappropriate content.

When it comes to price, the GameCube comes out tops. Available for only $99, it’s significantly cheaper than the PlayStation 2 and Xbox, whose prices range from $150 to $199 (or more if bundled with game titles). The Xbox 360, being the newest of the bunch, is the highest-priced. For $299, you get the system and a wired controller. For $399, you get a wireless controller, a headset that players can use to talk to other people online, a 20 GB hard drive that is loaded with game-related videos and music, and a remote.

Parents should go out and try each system personally as well as look at the different titles available for them before deciding which one to buy. Factors such as number and age of users at home, game title availability, and budget should also be considered. Each system has its own pros and cons, and families will differ in their preferences: some will be content with the limited but popular games of the GameCube; some might prefer the wider offering of the PlayStation 2 or the Xbox; others might opt for the high-tech features of the Xbox 360. But all things considered, making the right choice will provide hours of wholesome, fun, and worry-free entertainment for the little ones and for their parents as well.

Xbox 360 Games offer some of the most incredibly immersive experiences anywhere, online or off. With blockbuster titles like Halo, Fallout, Call of Duty, and Panzer General: Allied Assault, it’s hard to see what else could possibly improve game play any more than the long way it’s already come. After all, it wasn’t but a few years ago that clunky old-school controllers were still being used. Nowadays the user interface has improved noticeably, with on-board accelerometers to process spatial data for human kinetics in gaming. But something on the horizon may be the most revolutionary thing to hit video gaming at home in our time.

Xbox 360 games can be closely matched to Xbox 360 Accessories for the most seamless experience of truly immersive game play. But what if there were no need for any Xbox 360 accessories except one? One uber-accessory to replace them all? Long the stuff of science fiction and comic books, this latest of Xbox 360 accessories would also be the last. It would be the only thing needed to play all the Xbox 360 games made from then on.

Never heard of it? That’s because it was only recently announced by Microsoft. It’s an electronic eye of sorts that will obliterate the need for physical controllers, hardware that is held in one’s hand. This new soon-to-come electronic eye will sense player movements in space, so hand-held controllers with built-in accelerometers will no longer be necessary. This latest advance in gaming technology is due out within the next year or two, and will be mounted separately from the console. But all user movement data will be provided to the console just the same. Try to imagine playing videogames with nothing more than your own body and body movements!

This veritable magic eye that Microsoft has been developing will even track eye movements to change point-of-view in a first-person shooter. Imagine Halo or Call of Duty or Medal of Honor without pesky controllers but with instead a light gun and your own body and your own eyes! As you turn right the screenshot reveals scenery to your right side, and as you turn left the panorama shifts with you!

So while today’s Xbox 360 games are quite advanced, the Xbox accessories to come will require software that rethinks the whole notion of onscreen and off. Hardware and software exist in a symbiotic relationship, and it will be interesting to see what transpires next now that the hardware has taken a quantum leap forward!

Six Days in Fallujah makes a claim to be one of the most practical war Xbox 360 games ever made, and it is also one of the most questionable. The game has gathered so much negative press the publisher, Konami, dropped it like a time-honoured hot potato, leaving developer Atomic Games in a dicey position. If they do not get a publisher shortly, the company may stop work and the game may never see the daylight.

Six Days in Fallujah follows the real-world exploits of US forces in the 46-day battle that occurred in this central Iraqi city. The battle started on Nov seven, 2004 and lasted to December twenty-three of the same year. More than one thousand insurgents died, and 38 U.S. Infantrymen were killed. The game has taken more than 3 years to develop at a price of twenty-million, and it is not finished because of a shortage of funding and the danger that there won’t be a publisher to market the game to customers.

Practical war games are nothing new, as titles like Call of Duty are among some of the most well-liked of all Xbox 360 games. The furore over Six Days in Fallujah is that it’s too real. It was developed with the aid of marines that basically took part in the battle. They added their experiences, their viewpoints, their fears, as well as their names and likenesses.

Weapons include attack rifles, grenades, C4 explosives, and air strikes, which can be called in to clear a building from overhead. Explosives are used to blast holes in walls in the hope of surprising insurgents by making a surprising entrance. Courtesy of a recently designed engine, the environment is completely destructible.

This annihilation plays a vital component in the method, since you may use some for cover and even implode entire structures on the enemy. As in real life, you’ll use whatever limited tools, weapons, and secrets you have at your disposal. According to Atomic Games ‘ president Peter Tamte, unlike the other media, the interactive nature of the computer game permits players to put themselves in pragmatic decision making processes.
