Being a fan of racing and in particular Formula 1 (will not tell you who my favorite driver or team is though), I have been actively involved in some of the games that promise great adventure and a feeling of the real deal. I have been playing the F1 2010 series since it was released and I have to confess it has really gotten into my system. I cannot do a day without a full race. However, it is one of my friends who suggested that I was so much engrossed in an outdated game that already had an improved series.

I immediately set out to look for the F1 2011 series and surely I got it. After playing the game for a couple of months now, I have taken time to draft a F1 2011 Xbox 360 Review that can help those who were in the dark like me learn what the game has to offer.

Car Handling

The simulations done on the various car handling mechanisms is so accurate that I have at times wondered how this was ever possible. I have tested the car on the the types of tyres provided and I can confidently say that the dynamics applied are exactly the same as in the real F1. The soft tyres have a better grip but last for a short time while the hard tyres are a lesser grip but last for a longer time. That implies that as a driver i have to consider what is best for the car and me every time I pit. Fuel consumption and management has also been incorporated so that as a driver i have to make sure i make do with the fuel i have to the finish line. Other features of car handling include the suspension system and the braking system.

Multiplayer mode – Co-op Championship mode

The amazing features of this game need no introduction, but there is something that could have been better – the understanding of the storyline. I can only hope that proceeding versions of the game can lay out the plot of the conflict better. That said; action games hardly come any better.

It is precisely for this reason that I keep going back to the game. You should not make any mistake, this is the best effort for this year and if you do not own it, you should consider getting it. There is nothing much to say about the breathing, living world you will inhabit through Assassins Creed Xbox 360.

Assassins Creed Xbox 360 – The Plot

As an assassin extraordinaire Altair, you explore 3 holy cities of the 12th century. These include Acre, Jerusalem and Damascus. Each city has been beautifully designed with towers that are meticulously designed and reaching the skies. There are also some quiet corners with citizens conversing and drunks lying in wait. You have to walk and push your way through the crowd and watch as town guards harass citizens. Assassins Creed Xbox 360 – What I Liked Most

I was impressed with the visual design and this is because it makes you feel like everything is organic. These cities are huge and while you might not get complete exploration privileges during the initial chapters, your travels will eventually open up and one adventure will open the door to another. Everything is superbly lit and this is another aspect that captured my fancy. It gives the surroundings a blooming effect and everything gets cast in shadow. The objects are textured to perfection and this also includes pottery and it makes you want to reach out and touch the same.

Assassins Creed Xbox 360 Animations

The animations in Assassins Creed Xbox 360 are as perfectly done and you will be amazed by the ease with which Alistair leaps from one tower to another, scales the high walls and engages in different swashbuckling battles. He does this with ease moving from one pose to another and in addition to this, the other minor characters also have the ability to move with the same ease. The cities are populated and while this is the case, everything about Assassins Creed Xbox 360 is incredibly perfect. The sounds are even more appealing than what you will see and this is enhanced by the sound of swords clanging and groans of foes who have been assassinated.

It is for all these reasons and more that I find Assassins Creed Xbox 360 to be one of the most exciting games. It has the ability to hold my attention for hours on end.
